Invisible Ellen by Shari Shattuck

Thanks to Chick Lit Central I got to read Invisible Ellen.  The protagonists are a quirky pair – one is an irrepressible blind girl and the other is an emotionally numb former foster child.  Fate brings them together on a bus and things just happen from there.

In a way the humour and crime type settings remind me of Janet Evanovich.  But there is also some stuff of substance in Invisible Ellen.

I don't think you'll regret giving this a go.  One thing is certain, you won't forget the characters in a hurry.
