ON
The first
time Food on Friday had the theme Fish
and Seafood was way back in April 2012!
That collection had over 90 links in it.
So I thought it was time to do it again.
I'm sure you have lots of fab fish/seafood dishes to share.
To add your
fish or seafood dish, just put the name of the dish together with your blog
name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will find below. Then paste the url for your post about it
into the second box.
I'll be
pinning the links to this
Pinboard (which is the one I pinned the 2012 dishes to)– this is a
quick way for you to scan the dishes and choose which ones you want to check
out in more detail.
Have lots
of 'fishy' fun!
I love fish and seafood! At this moment I'm attempting to smoke my first salmon!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice weekend!
Hi Carole my wild red salmon fillet placed between two puff pastry slices is to die for.
ReplyDeleteMy contribution: Roasted bluefish and fish stock. (Don't let the post title scare you away!)
ReplyDeleteSeafood is my favorite! Thanks for the invite :-)
ReplyDeleteDoes a Shrimp Salad count? :) It is really good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.
Protein and omega3 rich seafood might just delay old age and soothe cranky teenagers.
ReplyDeleteCheers Carole--left you 2, depending on the season. A stir fry for summer and a casserole for cooler months.
ReplyDeleteHi, Carole and all,
ReplyDeleteMy Ma's recipe for fish and vegetable pie (#18) originally called for lampuki, a fish very common in Malta.
Don't panic. It works well with any fish that has a bit of heft to it, such as bluefish.
It can also be served cold at a picnic :-)
I think kahawai is a very underrated fish and I love it in this salad, in a ceviche or in a Thai curry.
ReplyDeleteI made Cooking Light's Blackened Fish Baja Tacos - delicious!
ReplyDeleteHi carole, Im looking forward to some great recipes
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invite Carole. We've been eating quite a bit a fish lately, so it's perfect timing.

ReplyDeleteLow Country Boil (#75) is great for a crowd. Just be ready to eat it when it's done. This one doesn't sit and wait well.
