This is the
second book by Kathleen Flinn that I've posted about. Like The
Kitchen Counter Cooking School this book is non-fiction. It recounts Flinn's experiences at the famed
Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris.
I enjoyed
it on many levels – good writing, set in Paris, aroused my emotions, described
fabulous food…. It was also interesting following her journey to speak and
understand French. There is also a
classic French recipe at the end of each chapter.
I recommend
this book for anyone who likes a good story or good food or Paris.
I read this years ago and loved it! It's on my Cooking/Food Books List on my blog.
