Zürich

Today I am going to show you a little more about Zürich in Switzerland.  It's a fantastic place to visit – not particularly cheap though.
As you can see the city sits on a lovely lake and also a river.  A lovely setting.  A stroll around part of the lake is a must do.

This is St Peter's Church seen from across the River Limmat

There are some great stained glass windows by Chagall in the wonderful Fraumünster church

Popular souvenirs of Zürich include Swatch watches, Swiss chocolate, miniature cow bells and, if you don't mind heavy items, a fondue pot!  Swiss Army knives used to be popular before the airlines banned them.  I like to get a fridge magnet for each nice place I visit.  Kitsch but fun.
