Books You Loved: May Edition

Before getting onto this month's collection of Books You Loved, here are a few of last month's reviews that caught my eye:

Andi from Estella's Revenge reviewed The Martian by Andy Weir.  She said 'I had to KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! Thus, the staying up past my bedtime. If you're looking for a book that will suck you in straight away and keep you engaged, this is the one!'  (Ps – I have now read this myself and can confirm it is a fantastic read)

Find Momo was reviewed by guiltless reader.  She said 'An utterly adorable, absorbing, and entertaining coffeetable book featuring the winning combination of an adorable border collie, beautiful photography and travel, all rolled into a Where's Waldo concept. Go! Go Find Momo!'

Blog of Erised reviewed The Help by Kathryn Stockett.   Ula said 'I adored this book so much, and I was hooked from the absolute start. The book is absolutely unputdownable'

Shauna from I Love to Read and Review Books posted about Miss Armistead Makes Her Choice by Heidi Ashworth. She said 'Oh how I LOVE a good Regency Romance! And this one is SO. SO. SO. GOOD!'
To see more of the books  in last month's collection, just visit this Pinboard or the original post.

Now on to the new collection.  Remember the review can be a recent or old one.  The only rule is that it was a book that you loved!
To add a book to the collection, just pop the name of the book into the first Mr Linky box (along with your blog name/name if you like) and paste the url for your post about it into the second box.
I'll be pinning the reviews as they come in to this Pinboard.  It will make it easier for you to choose which books you are interested in checking out in more detail.

  1. I found The Shadow Year captivating from page one, with much of what I love in good women's fiction: quite a bit of mystery, a touch of suspense, and loads of relational tension.

  2. I really enjoyed The Garden Plot. It was a good murder mystery that had a budding romance going on. The ending is special...
