Food on Friday: Valentine's Day Food

 ON

It's our chance to get all romantic for this Food on Friday.  Please link in whatever dishes you think would be great for serving a loved one on Valentine's Day.

Just put your name (or your blog name) and the name of the dish into the first Mr Linky box and then paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I will be pinning the links to this Pinboard as fast as I can.
This is a no rules type party.  All I ask of you is that you choose some of the other links to visit.  But if you haven't got time, please at least have a peep at the Pinboard.

Happy Valentine's Day!

  29. Carole,
I've linked up 3 savory recipes even though I think chocolate goes well with Valentines. Of course, being a mere 1 mile walk from both Graeter's Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Dorothy Lane Market's Salted Caramel Killer Brownies means that I can take the time to make the savory dishes and leave the sweets to the locals.
I'm sharing a Skillet Mushroom Dip for Two, and Soy Sriracha Roasted Mushrooms, because sharing a mushroom appetizer before dinner is one way my spouse and I have date night while staying at home.
I'm also sharing a Valentine's pizza--because cooking foods based on the dietary preferences of your loved ones is a terrific way to show your love.
    Thanks for hosting!

  30. I shared my newest post, a recipe for sweet potato blossom cookies that are cute enough to serve to a romantic interest or just to friends at a V-Day party. The sweetie will love that they are so delicious and attractive, yet also very low fat and light.
