Are you a
Georgette Heyer fan? If so, and you've
read and re-read all her books, you could give Clare Darcy a try. She also
wrote Regency Romances and although they are not quite in the class of Heyer,
they are worth reading.
Clare Darcy was the pen name that American
novelist Mary Deasy used for Regency Novels.
She wrote 14 of them including:
Regina
Eugenia
Georgina
Lydia
Allegra
Cressida
You get the
idea – all named after the female protagonist.
She unfortunately died in 1978.
Thank you for that - I am a huge Heyer fan and wondered what would compare to those. I'll keep an eye out!
