ON
In
the early days of Food on Friday we did Chocolate,
but there weren't that many recipes in the collection. And knowing, what great lovers of chocolate
are out there, I felt we should give it another go.
Chocolate goes well with:
almonds
honey
amaretto
ice-cream
brandy
liqueurs
butter
macadamias
caramel

milk
chestnuts
muscat
cinnamon
oranges
coconut
pastry
coffee
pears
cognac
pecans
cream
pistachios
dates
port
dried fruit
prunes
eggs
raisins
figs
rum
hazelnuts
sour cream
sugar
vanilla
Walnuts
So
just add your chocolate wonders by putting your name and the name of the dish
into the first Mr Linky box and pasting the url for your post about the dish
into the second one.
There
are no other rules – but I do encourage you to check out some of the other
dishes. To help you choose which ones
you want to look at it more detail, I will be pinning the dishes to this Pinboard.
As
always, I disclaim all waistline effects from reading all these recipes!
Happy
chocolating! (And, yes, I know that's not a real word)
Thanks, Carole. First to comment this time!!!

ReplyDeleteIt took me all week, but I finally got back with my recipe. Nanimo Bars are most popular in Canada and I found a cookie version which I enjoy making and then eating. I don't lilke the store version of the bars as the chocolate isn't as nice, but these cookies hit the spot.

ReplyDeleteHi, Carole. I tried to link up over the weekend and kept getting messages that your blog no longer existed! I got a little worried about you. Glad to see it was just a glitch.
