As
always I was looking for a new way to jazz up broccoli. The better half actually cooked this (note
the natural food styling!) but the idea to combine the dried fruit and the
sherry was mine. It actually tasted nice
and even better the comment was made – 'it doesn't taste like broccoli' –
result!
So
how was this Broccoli with Dried
Raisins, Cranberries and Sherry made?
The
broccoli was cut up into florets and lightly boiled for 5 minutes.
After
it was drained, a snack sized packet of mixed cranberries and raisins was added
and stirred through along with a splosh of dry white sherry – splosh is a
technical term of course!
Looks yummy!
