Cool down with a Watermelon "Pizza"

Watermelon "pizza" by Carole's Chatter

This Watermelon "Pizza" is simple to do but adds a bit of pizzazz to your meal.  I am posting this because the next Food on Friday is all about Melons.

Just cut your Watermelon into a large horizontal slice and then put it on the plate like it’s a pizza.  Cut it into quarters or slices.

Grind pepper onto it – it goes great.

Then put a slice of prosciutto or other thinly sliced parma ham onto each slice with a little thinly sliced red onion and some basil pesto!  Voila – you have a tasty but cooling dish.
