Georges Braque (1882-1963) was a French
painter. He, together with Picasso,
created what became known as Cubism.
He
started out as a house painter like his father!
Then when he took up painting he was first an Impressionist, then a
Fauvist before being inspired by Picasso.
He
was the first living artist ever to have work exhibited in the Louvre.
His
works are both weird and wonderful.
On
the 31st of August he would have been 131.
I nvr saw these paintings before..They are beautiful :)
