I
have only been to Mexico once. And that
was to Cancun which is a resort
beach area on the Yucatan Peninsula. So
I suspect not particularly the real Mexico.
But I enjoyed it although it was expensive.
The
food was fantastic. The shopping malls
were filled with jewellery stores and knock off bag shops – which did mean I
had some doubts about the jewellery!
The
temperature was warm, the hotel pool cool with a swim up bar. Just a purely hedonistic escape which is what
I needed at that time.
I didn't know that was what Cancun translated to either! Ugh.

I've been to Puerto Vallarta, almost drowned from undertow, never going back. Ugh on the Cancun translation. That would have freaked me out. But your pics are pretty.
