Don't
you just love the fancy glass I put this
"Mango Surprise" in! I think it is an original peanut butter jar
glass. So much for photo styling.
But
the drink was delicious. And I can't get
over how easy it is to make drinks like this.
You
do need to have some frozen banana bits on hand – I snap freeze them a couple
of bananas at a time and keep them in little plastic baggies in the freezer.
What
went into this drink:
½
can of mango pieces with the juice – came out of the fridge so was cold
Juice
of 1 orange
3
frozen banana bits
And
that was it! – No added sugar, water or dairy or anything in the milky
line. Just whizzed it up in no time with
my old stick blender – which is still working well enough for this.
Looks good! That would be a perfect drink for this hot Texas afternoon! I brewed up some herbal tea with fresh mint from the garden. Iced tea is my standard daily drink - I drink at LEAST a quart - often TWO - every day!
ReplyDeleteLooks refreshing!

ReplyDeleteLooks delicious... wish I had mangos on hand this morning!
ReplyDeleteThis kind of a mango juice is way better than drinking packaged mango drink. :)
ReplyDeleteI love mango, this looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteYum! My son LOVES mango, so I make him Mango Smoothies all the time - mostly the same ingredients as you - I use frozen mango, sliced banana, orange juice...and he likes his with a bit of vanilla ice cream or yogurt in it.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me - we are out of frozen mango - I better go get some today!
