Flag of the week: Australia

As a result of the great similarity of the previous Australian flag to the New Zealand one, the Australian Government ran a design competition which has resulted in this as the design of their new flag.  You will see that it features the iconic Kangaroo and a Boomerang as well as the classic Australian colours of green and gold.  I'm sure I'll get used to it – eventually….
