It's Books You Loved time again – the April edition. Before getting to the link up I would like to
mention a few of the books that were linked in to the March edition which
caught my eye.
The Return by Victoria Hislop. Marianne of Let's Read said in her review
that:
"The Return leads us to another place
and another time in history but one that is just as exciting. A young woman
discovers not only the terrible history of the Spanish Civil War but also her
own."
Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham. The author was Lorelai from the Gilmore
Girls. Megan of Write Meg! said "If you’re looking for a smart, fun story, Someday, Someday,
Maybe is really enjoyable."
When in Rome by Nicky Pellegrino. LindyLouMac's Book Review said "A novel for those Italophiles that cannot resist another story set in Italy," And even better the author is a Kiwi!
The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes – review
by Rose City Reader
"Julian Barnes explores memory, loss, and lives built
around the empty spaces in his Booker-winning novel, The Sense of an Ending."
Audition: A Memoir by Barbara Walters – reviewed by Moonshine
and Rosefire – ”Overall, it was an incredibly interesting and engaging
book for me to read"
Now,
on to this month's link up – please put your name and the book name (&
author) into the first Mr Linky box and copy the url for your post about the
book into the second. And if you have
time, it would be great if you checked out some of the other links.
I'll be doing more links in a few days. Thank you for hosting Books You Loved! It's a fabulous resource
