Today's
post is not about an artist in the traditional sense but a photographer – Ans Westra.
Ans came to New Zealand from Holland at
the age of 21 and as an outsider, originally, she found fresh perspectives in
her photos - which are mostly of
people.
She has a real talent for
getting unselfconscious and truthful shots.
Ans
was born at the end of April 1936.
