Flag of the week: New Zealand

Well, I'm getting towards the end of the series of Flag of the Week posts, so I had to do my own country's – this is the New Zealand flag.  If you think it looks a lot like the Australian flag, you are not wrong.  Because of our shared British heritage and location in the Southern Hemisphere we share the Union Jack and the Southern Cross stars.  Australia's has an extra, large star representing the Commonwealth and States.
