Flag of the week: Moldova


Moldova flag


Moldova came out of the old USSR.  The flag only dates back to 1990.  The arms in the middle have a spread eagle and a bull's head.  It is attractive but I'm not sure why they are there!

    I found this flag interesting as my brother spent 3 years living there as a Peace Corps volunteer. Thanks for sharing!
