ReplyDeleteWhen I have a bit of time I am going to give it a try!
Meatloaf? We LOVE it!! I am going now to visit some of the links! I do a regular meatloaf - ground beef, eggs, oatmeal, seasonings, chopped onion, a bit of milk or cream and a splash of worcestershire sauce with a topping of brown sugar, catsup, worcestershire sauce and a dollop of yellow mustard.
Love reading your blog posts - even when I don't have much time to comment!
We've been working on the classic French culinary techniques, especially meat binding to create a different type of meat "loaf". I hope your readers enjoy my take on this dish. Thanks for the invite.

ReplyDeleteof all the things i cook - Meatloaf is not one of them! Stuffed peppers yes - meatloaf no - someone else in the house does a great meatloaf, but i can not read their writing to post it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite comfort food!
ReplyDeleteMeatloaf has long been something that I've wanted to find a recipe for, but for a meatloaf that doesn't come out squishy - as so many of them do. The one I've posted above is slightly different in that it is stuffed with slices of cheddar cheese that melt deliciously as the meatloaf cooks. It doesn't have that texture that my husband likes to refer to as "meat porridge", so from that you can gather that it's a firmer type!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invite! I LOVE meatloaf!
ReplyDeleteI discovered my meatloaf by accident...it's all in my blog post. I thought all was lost, but it turned out to be a very happy accident.
