Pasadena Roof Orchestra

So you think a musical group called the Pasadena Roof Orchestra should be American?  Or even originate from Pasadena?  Nope – they're English! They were founded in 1969 and they specialise in jazz and swing music from the 20's and 30's.  If you get a chance to pick up one of their CD's, please give them a shot.  As is often the case, their first album just called Pasadena Roof Orchestra was probably the best one.  Although I also have The Collection which is very good.

It will put a smile on your dial when you hear tracks like Paddlin' Madelin' Home and It Don't Mean a Thing (if you ain't got that swing).
