The temple featured on the flag of Cambodia is Angkor Wat – Cambodia's
most famous monument. This version of
the flag dates back to 1948 with a gap during the period of the Khmer Rouge.
I love learning little tidbits of information like where flags come from, so this is awesome! I teach 5th grade, and I just taught my students about the US flag. It's fun to learn about other flags as well!
