Need some inspiration? Try chocolate

Well today's Need some inspiration is about chocolate.  I was actually a bit surprised that Food on Friday: Chocolate got less than 50 links!  I thought with so many chocoholics out there, that there would be lots more links.  Actually the linky is still open so if you have chocolately ideas to share – please go for it.  And if there are enough new links I'll do another showcase post later on.

Even though there were fewer links to choose from, this didn't make it easy – so many great dishes were linked in.

First, have a look at this spectacular dish – Chocolate Caramel Pretzels by Sarah at High Heels and Grills.

And I loved the sound of these white chocolate lemon truffles by Major Cake.

Love the lemon/chocolate combo.

And here is the talented Jenny Eatwell's chocolate and cherry pots from Jenny Eatwell's Rhubarb and Ginger.

Chocolate and cherries - another winning combination.

And now for something super – but I suspect well beyond my ability to do – Banana Rum Mille Feuille from Country Gourmet Traveller.

How do you like dem bananas?

This link from Sandra's Recipes – Alaska just put me into such a sophisticated space.  Here is her Chocolate covered strawberries with champagne.

Sandra – you can put on the entertainment at my house any time!

And last. but far from least, how about this double chocolate banana tart from Lizzy at That Skinny Chick Can Bake.

Fantastic presentation.

Finally, if you would like to look at the links from Food on Friday: Chocolate and not just the showcased ones, you can click here to go to the Pinterest board I created for them.

Have a happy week – and no complaints please about putting on weight as a result of trying these ideas out!

  2. I can't believe I missed it! Friday was a bit of a hair-raising day for me. If I don't have another like it in the near future I will be grateful.
