Pat Hanly

Pat Hanly was one of those modern artists that splits opinion.  I love the colours in his works while not always admiring the subject matter.  His figures are often almost naïve in design.

It is not able to disputed, however, that Pat Hanly was one of New Zealand's more important artists.

Hanly died on 20 September 2004 at the age of 72.
