Jim
Bolger was born on this day in 1935. He
is a previous Prime Minister of New Zealand and a member of the Order of New
Zealand. Our first female Prime
Minister, Jenny Shipley, pushed him out as Prime Minister in 1997 but he then
became NZ’s ambassador in New York and still is on a number of influential
boards etc.
