St George’s Day today




St George came across a town in trouble.  Each year one of their daughters had to be sacrificed to the dragon.  George of course slays the dragon and is the hero of the hour.  He was a soldier saint and eventually was martyred.

      It's very much an English thing. -He is their patron saint.
