Solution for 5 April cryptic crossword clue



Burdened half of TV and took a programme off the air (5)
Solution - Taxed

Burdened = taxed
Half of TV = T (ie half of the letters) followed by “took a programme off the air” = axed

    Thanks for the tip on the Picasso exhibition in Sydney. The weather was too gorgeous to be indoors but if it had rained it was a great idea!
