Lloyd Jones - Mr Pip

Lloyd Jones –  born on this day in 1955.  Author of the critically acclaimed Mr Pip – and brother of the always controversial Sir Bob Jones.  Mr Pip is a literary and quite disturbing read set in Bougainville.  Not my normal sort of thing.  But it is probably the most successful book by a NZ author since the Bone People.
