Sausage Sauce

For a complete change of pace I went with a Sausage Sauce (such a creative name, I know!) that did not include tomato sauce or ketchup!  Go figure! 

So what was in it? 

Cranberries and Raisins
Sherry
Cream
Curry Powder
Mustard Powder
Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper
Tiny bit of chicken stock concentrate
Small amount of cornflour mixed in cold water to thicken the sauce

You just cook that lot up in a saucepan for 2-3 minutes – stirring it now and again – and that's it. 
And was it good with our pork sausages – yes so good that this one is going to get done again often!

  1. curry powder isn't a spice I have on hand but my husband has been begging me to make chicken curry for him. Once we get there I'll have to try this one as well. Love the addition of cranberries/raisins!
