Big Lies in a Small Town by Diane Chamberlain

Big Lies in a Small Town is a powerful story well told.  The book's name doesn't really match the content for me.

Diane Chamberlain is a very good writer – I have posted about The Dream Daughter and The Stolen Marriage.

So what can I tell you about the story without spoiling it for you.  There are dual time lines – 2018 and 1940.  The story is set in a small town in North Carolina.  The thing that brings the story together is a mural which is in desperate need of restoration.

I recommend this to you with one little warning – you may find your sleep being invaded by some of the events.
