The Little Shop of Happy Ever After by Jenny Colgan

The Little Shop of Happy Ever After is a light read – if you are looking for important literature, this is not it.  The premise is fun and book is quite funny at times.

The heroine is a librarian who loses her job in a restructure and ends up buying a van and setting up a mobile bookshop in rural Scotland.

If you want a bit of a tonic, you will enjoy this book. It's satisfying escapist fun – and honours book lovers.
