Food on Friday: Cakes

ON

I know, I know – we've done Cakes a couple of times before but I felt we all needed a bit of sweet cheerfulness!

To add your cakes, just put the name of the cake together with your blog name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will find below.  Then paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning the dishes to this Pinboard which also has the links from the earlier collections.

Let us all eat cake!

  1. Hi, Carole!

We’re having a wet summer in Winnipeg but otherwise doing ok. Hope you are, too.

The post for Pineapple Cake with Coconut Pecan Topping ( # 4 ) also has a link for Ma’s Cinnamon Swirl Sour Cream Coffee Cake. Both use pecans, if you’re trying to finish some pecans before they go stale. It also works with other nuts.

This is a really easy cake with topping recipe, so yes, do try it :-)

  8. Mocha Cream Hazelnut Torte has become my favorite cake. I like to make it in mini size because I tend to want to work at it until it is all gone.

    Have a good weekend.

  9. What do you do when the rosemary is taking over the garden? Make a cake! Fragrant Coconut Lime & Rosemary Syrup Cake. I thought I'd have a lot more cake recipes that I do on the blog but many are muffins etc.

  17. Carole,
Cakes are something I rarely make but never turn down! I've linked up a couple of family favorites, some healthier than others. After all, it's cake.
    Thanks for hosting!
