This is one simple way you can make Bok Choy taste delicious. Just cut each bok choy in half lengthwise and
season with salt and pepper.
Heat your
pan and add garlic infused olive oil, sesame oil and some grated ginger.
Saute your
bok choy for 5 minutes maximum on a highish heat. The leaves will wilt but the stalks should
still be crunchy.
This is a Low FODMAP dish.
Thanks for posting this. I see the mini bok choys in the grocery all the time and they look so good. I've even bought them a few times, but was disappointed in the cooking. This sounds tasty.
ReplyDeleteI tried this tonight, though I didn't have the sesame oil. I am at my mom's and she just doesn't have the pantry I do. It was her first time eating bok choy and she ate every bit on her plate.
DeleteI saw some bok choy at the farmer's market last week. Your post makes me want to get some soon.
ReplyDeleteI just love bok choy and really should buy it to cook at home more often. You've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteYum - thought sounds delicious! And so simple - I'm going to pin this recipe.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I've never made bok choy?
ReplyDeleteI usually just chop it up fine and throw it into a stir fry, never tried to eat it on its own before. I should try this :)
ReplyDeleteSimple, but delicious :-)
