Food on Friday: Pork


ON


This week's edition of Food on Friday is all about PORK.

According to the great Stephanie Alexander, pork goes well with:
Apples
Celery
Cherries
Chillies
Fennel
Garlic
Ginger
Lentils
Maple syrup
Mushrooms
Mustard
Olive oil
Onions
Pears
Pickled cucumbers
Potatoes
Prunes
Red cabbage
Rosemary
Sage
Salad leaves
Sauerkraut
Sour cream
Soy sauce
Spring onions (scallions)
Star anise
Thyme
Tomatoes
Turnips
Watercress

    Hi Carole Happy Easter. I have added how to make a perfect curry paste from my curry blog. This is a great base paste for many curries and uses fennel seeds, if making a lamb curry mint could also be added.
