I had
bought a rack of pork ribs (small ones – maybe what are called baby back?) and
wanted an easy cook. Despite no pre-marinating
or faffing about, the result was tasty.
I just heated
the oven to moderate. I painted Chinese
plum sauce and hoisin sauce onto the ribs – in a ratio of 2 plum to 1 hoisin.
A little
oil in the bottom of the roasting dish – a little salt and pepper and then I
just roasted them until they looked done. No foil on the top or anything. You can see that I had to cut the rack into 2
pieces to fit it into the tin.
I like that easy cooking, Plum/Hoisin 2 to 1. About how long did they cook?
ReplyDeleteChinese bottled sauces are amazing, aren't they! This looks like a very good way to use them.

Yum! I haven't made ribs very often but I'm pretty fond of eating them! This sounds pretty easy and I definitely want to try them.
ReplyDeleteLove ribs! Need to stock up on some bottled sauces. :)
