Books You Loved: March Edition

Books You Loved: February continued to provide reviews of great books. Thank you to all. Here are a few that caught my eye:

Elizabeth from Silver's Reviews posted about Big Lies in a Small Town by Diane Chamberlain.  She said 'BIG LIES IN A SMALL TOWN has mystery, marvelously portrayed characters, and a storyline you don't want to end. …This book is a WOW read!!' I will be posting about this one soon.

Lost Hills by Lee Goldberg was reviewed by Books I think you should read.  The review said 'Eve is determined to solve what starts as a missing persons case, but quickly transforms to a triple murder. She doesn’t want any more press, but she does want to do right by the single mom and her two kids who go missing and leave behind a horrific crime scene. …I’d give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I could not set it down'

Silver's Reviews also brought us The Vineyards of Champagne by Juliet Blackwell.  The post said 'If you love champagne, history lessons, learning about wine making in France, unraveling secrets, reading old letters, exploring old houses, meeting marvelous characters, and being treated to a terrific story line, do not miss reading THE VINEYARDS OF CHAMPAGNE.'

Katie from Doing Dewey posted about a memoir – Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.  Katie said 'The author’s sense of humor was a big part of what made this book so good. He was able to talk about some dark times in his life without the story every becoming too depressing. And he was able to show his love and compassion for his mother in some truly moving stories without becoming sappy.' For those of you who don't know Trevor Noah is the host of The Daily Show.

Now on to the March edition – last one for the quarter.  There are no rules for this party.  The only requirement is that your post is about a book that you loved.

To add to the list just pop the name of the book (and your name/blog name if you like) into the first Mr Linky box and then copy and paste the url of your post about it into the second box. Mr Linky now also makes you tick a box.

I'll be pinning your links to this Pinboard to make it easier for you to check them out at a glance.

Have fun!

  3. I had to enter two books today, one is really of cartoons (Book Love) but every reader will find it just as worthy as I did. And the other is one for laughing, as well (Right ho, Jeeves).

Hope it will brighten up the day of one or other of your readers.

    Enjoy.
