Books You Loved: New Year Edition

Books You Loved: December let us know about lots of great books. Thank you to all. Here are a few that caught my eye:

Park Avenue Summer by Renee Rosen was reviewed by Melissa.  She said 'The story was both enjoyable and addictive. I couldn't get enough of it! I liked seeing Helen Gurley Brown through Alice's eyes. …This was a terrific historical fiction novel. It made New York City come alive'

Melissa also reviewed Holly Banks Full of Angst by Julie Valerie.  She said 'Holly Banks Full of Angst is a fun story throughout. … Holly was extremely relatable, as were the situations she got herself into. .. There were lots of humorous moments and bits. Julie has a way with words and it shows.'

The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell was brought over by Tina of Novel Meals.  Her post said 'The house in question here is a lovely place in the Cotswolds, home of the Bird family.  Colin and Lorelei Bird have four children.  …  We journey through their lives and the drama unfolds over the years.  …This book addresses the mental illness of a hoarder and what it does to a family.'
And a quick reminder of my own post about The Hunger Games.

Now on to the January edition.  There are no rules for this party.  The only requirement is that your post is about a book that you loved.

To add to the list just pop the name of the book (and your name/blog name if you like) into the first Mr Linky box and then copy and paste the url of your post about it into the second box. Mr Linky now also makes you tick a box.

I'll be pinning your links to this Pinboard to make it easier for you to check them out at a glance.  It also has links from previous Januaries…

Happy New Year
