Books You Loved: November Edition

Books You Loved: October continued to provide reviews of great books. Thank you to all. Here are a few that caught my eye:

Elizabeth of Silver's Reviews posted aby 29 Seconds by T.M Logan. Her review said 'If you enjoy edge-of-your-seat thrillers, this book needs to be on your reading list...an absolutely terrific read.  5/5'

The Dearly Beloved by Cara Wall was brought over by Reading Ladies Book Club.  The review said 'The most difficult books I review are those that I love, LOVE, L O V E. I think the connections we make with a book greatly affect our reactions and reviews, and this one checked all my boxes for an exceptional, memorable, and thoughtful read.'

The Testaments by Margaret Atwood was reviewed by Judy from Keep The Wisdom.  She said 'I loved The Testaments! The characters, the pace, and the reassurance that women can fight oppression at any age with smarts, courage, cooperation and even a touch of evil.'

For something a bit different try Elevate by Robert Glazer.  Heather of Books and Quilts  said 'Most people who say they want to improve themselves never do anything about it.  They wait for some outside force to magically make them a better person.  I won't happen. Author Robert Glazer gives examples and concrete activities to undertake to improve, or rather, elevate one's self.'

Now on to the November edition.  There are no rules for this party.  The only requirement is that your post is about a book that you loved.

To add to the list just pop the name of the book (and your name/blog name if you like) into the first Mr Linky box and then copy and paste the url of your post about it into the second box. Mr Linky now also makes you tick a box.

I'll be pinning your links to this Pinboard to make it easier for you to check them out at a glance.  It also has links from previous Novembers…

  2. Hi Carole, I haven’t been able to comment on blogger for months, unless the blogs have pop-up comments. I just discovered that I can on Chrome. 🤔 My link is to a blogpost I wrote about 7 books I read while we were travelling recently. Thanks for the link-up!
