Terry
Frost was an English artist who worked in Cornwall. He
specialised in abstract art. I hope you
enjoy the works I have selected for this post.
He only became an artist after being a POW during WWII
– in the prison camp he met an artist, Adrian Heath – who encouraged Frost to
paint. After the war Frost went to art
school at the age of 32. A late bloomer.
Unlike many other artists he had a long and happy
marriage and life – he was survived by 6 children (5 boys and a girl)
I find his work colourful and cheerful – just what we
all need now.
