It's Just a Figure of Speech!





Last month we looked at Similes and Metaphors

This time it's Hyperbole and Litotes.  These examples will illustrate what these figures of speech are.




















Did you guess right?  Hyperbole is gross exaggeration and Litotes is understatement or even damning with faint praise.
