French Glazed Carrots

Carole's Chatter: French Glazed Carrots

These French Glazed Carrots were pretty easy and the result was tasty.

Ingredients:

Carrots (cut into ¼ in slanted slices)
1 cup chicken stock (or water)
2 tblsp butter
2 tsp sugar
Salt or fish sauce

Method:

Heat the butter in a pot.  Add your carrots, sugar and stock.

Simmer until the carrots are tender.

Remove the carrots and set aside.

Reduce the liquid to syrupy.  Add the carrots back and stir so they are coated.  Taste and add salt/fish sauce as necessary.

Optional garnish of lemon slices and parsley.
