The Candidate by Lis Wiehl

It was a post on Create With Joy that encouraged me to give The Candidate a go.  On the face of it, it wasn't the sort of book I'm normally attracted to.  Its author is a cable news legal analyst.  So the setting in a cable news network rings pretty true.

The events – which certainly are page turners – are not realistic but they sure held my attention.  And some sly but disguised political digs relating to Presidential campaigns were entertaining as well.

This is a book that I think both women and men would enjoy.
