Food on Friday: Christmas Favourites

ON

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis' the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

So it is December and I can feel Christmas approaching at a rate of knots.

To add your Christmas Favourites, just put the name of the dish together with your blog name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will find below. Then paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning the links to
this Pinboard – this is a quick way for you to scan the dishes and choose which ones you want to check out in more detail.

  1. Oyster Stew (#4) is a Christmas Eve tradition. There are years every now and then when we skip it, but it's the first thing I think of when someone asks, "What is you special Christmas food?"

  4. I've added Parmesan Bites (or sables). Perfect when that first Champagne cork pops.

  5. My Grandmother would always prepare cabbage rolls, and of course there would have to be cranberries. My version is a little dressed up from my mothers. And one of my favorite pretzel treats. What a great party. Now I just wish we would get some snow here to put us all in the mood. Thanks for hosting!

  6. Good Afternoon Carol, Christmas would not be Christmas if we did no have Sweet Mince Pies during the festive season. So I have added a traditional version and also a not so traditional version. Both are just a little bit fabulous though.
    Have a lovely weekend.
I just noticed to your page views.... my word that is amazing. I am very close to 200,000 and I thought that was an achievement. You must be thrilled.
    Best Wishes
