Food on Friday: Easter Foods

ON

Welcome to the first Food on Friday for March! To see what other themes are coming up in March just go over to my top tab.

The theme for this Food on Friday is Easter Foods  - which we will not interpret strictly.

To add your dishes, just put the name of the dish together with your blog name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will find below.  Then paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning the dishes to this Pinboard which will make it easy for you to check them out at a glance.  The links from the earlier collection are also on that board.

I'm looking forward to being inspired by your creations!

  2. Easter foods, yum. We often have leg of lamb and wild rice for Easter.

  3. I always associated Easter with lamb when I lived in Canada. In Texas, that shifted to baked ham. I posted a recipe for leftover ham.

    Have a great weekend!

  6. Hi, Carole and all!

The post for # 13 also has links for traditional dishes for the feasts of St. Patrick and St. Joseph, as well as Mother's Day recipes.

And, yes, Carole, there’s a link for a failsafe hot cross buns recipe!
    Happy holidays, everyone!

  10. Carole,
The vegetables are what gets me for Easter--so hard to find fresh local veg when Easter comes early, so I turn to my freezer stash. But oh, so good, when Easter is later and I've got access to a wider variety!
I've linked up a variety of Easter breakfast/brunch recipes and dinnertime side dishes.
    Thanks for hosting!

  13. Jacques Pepin's Asparagus in Mustard Sauce was a huge hit the first Easter that I made it. I think it's been a part of our Easter dinner every year since then! :)
