Anglo Indian Sausage Patties

Carole's chatter: Anglo Indian Sausage Patties

I used a recipe from Curry Easy to make these Anglo Indian Sausage Patties  - but naturally had to change up the recipe a bit.  I omitted the onions for a start.

Ingredients
Pork mince (or sausage insides)
100g chopped fresh coriander
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1     tsp garam masala
1-   1½ tsp salt
Black pepper – lots
Oil for frying

Put everything except the oil into a boil and mix well (but not for too long).  Shape the mixture into a log and wrap in cling film tightly and keep overnight in the fridge (I only did just over 3 hours).

Divide the log up into equal pieces and shape the patties with wet hands.  Fry until brown.  Check to see they are cooked through.

I served these on cos lettuce with a potato salad on the side.

  4. Sounds really good. I love onions, so I'd add them.

  5. I'd have to have the onion and maybe add garlic. That reminds me, I'm out of coriander.
