Books You Loved: November Edition

It's the first Wednesday in the month again.  So, it's Books You Loved time.

Books You Loved: October was another great collection.  Some reviews that caught my eye were:

Melissa from Chick Lit Central reviewed After You by JoJo Moyes.  Her review said 'I can tell you this...I really enjoyed it. I found myself laughing out loud a bunch of times and cheering Lou on throughout the story'

Elizabeth of Silver's Reviews brought us The Paris Key by Juliet Blackwell.  She said 'THE PARIS KEY has you falling in love with the City of Lights as Ms. Blackwell describes the bakeries, the wine, the cheese, and the people. Ms. Blackwells writing style is so intriguing that you feel as though you are right there.'

For something different, try Doodle Lit by Jennifer Adams and Alison Oliver.  Thanks to Jo Ann Hakola of Journey of a Bookseller for telling us about it.  She said 'There are quotes from Shakespeare and other classic tales along the way.  You can doodle, draw, color, decorate and more.  There's even a paper doll with dresses you can color, add sparkle and glitter or?  The pages are perforated, so they can be removed from the book.  Perfect for giving each child a page or display on your fridge'

The Royal We by Jennifer Cocks and Jessica Morgan was added by both Books I Think You Should Read and Sarah's Bookshelves.  Elizabeth said 'This is definitely Kate Middleton fan fiction, and I have no problem with that' Sarah said 'It’s fun, cheeky, and romantic (but not overly cheesy)! It pokes fun at the idiosyncrasies of the British monarchy'

Now for the November collection.  Remember the post doesn't have to be a recent one and the book doesn't have to have been recently published or read.  The only requirement is that it is about a book that you loved.

To add to the list just pop the name of the book (and your name/blog name if you like) into the first Mr Linky box and then copy and paste the url of your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning your links to this Pinboard to make it easier for you to check them out at a glance.

I hope you discover some great books to read – I always do!

  7. Hello there, Carole,
Well, I chose another book by Norah Lofts as my favorite book for November, which also just happens to be a reread for me from over twenty years ago.
