Martin was a pretty cool guy.
His birth name was Dino Paul Crocetti.
He was nicknamed "The King of Cool". Don't you just love the bryl creamed hair!
He was a fabulous crooner. My favourites of his include – That's Amore,
Volare and Memories are made of this.
I remember disapproving of his half-drunk act on his TV
show – what a prig I was!
He died of lung cancer on Christmas morning 1995 at the
age of 78.
