Capital City of the Week – Washington DC



This is the last of the Capital City series so I am finishing with one everyone knows!  Washington DC.  DC was a planned city. A French born architect L'Enfant (which means Child) was engaged to plan it.


This is the Smithsonian Institution.  Doesn't it look grand!



And how about the interior of the Union Station!
