Food on Friday: Cooking with Wine

ON

Food on Friday: Cooking with Wine is collecting any sort of dish so long as wine is involved – wine in the broader sense including port, sherry, cognac or brandy – if it comes from a grape it qualifies.  And just for fun, let's include non-alcoholic grape based things like grape juice, wine vinegar and verjuice.

To add to the collection just pop your name and the name of the dish into the first Mr Linky box and paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I know Mr Linky is a bit retro in that there are no thumbnails but I like it and make up for it by pinning the links to this Pinboard which makes it easy for you to check them out at a glance.

  4. My winey post has to do with Boof Booganoon... because who wants to try spelling “Boeuf Bourguignon”?

    Enjoy.

  5. Enjoy #14 Anna Sultana's Mulled Wine on Valentine's Day!
It's similar to that enjoyed in one of my favourite scenes in the movie 'The Lion in Winter' - when King Henry ll and Alais were romping around in bed and sharing a hot cup of spiced wine.

  10. Carole,
I'm so down with the cooking with wine--even if I prefer to drink beer or hard cider! Luckily my spouse prefers wine, so there's usually some handy. I'm linking up a couple of vegetarian recipes--an appetizer (Skillet Mushroom Dip for Two), a soup (Sherried Black Bean and Broccoli Stem Soup) and a pizza (Drunken Mushroom Pizza) that feature wine.
    Thanks for hosting!
