Zagreb has been known by that name since
1094 – a very long time ago. This is a
view over some of its rooftops.
This is St Mark's Church in Zagreb.
This is a
scale model of the sun. It's called the Grounded Sun. Scale models of the planets in their position
to the sun can be found all over town.
It would be fun to visit and find them all.
The Museum of Contemporary Art is lit up at
night.
But perhaps
the most unusual thing about Zagreb is that it has a Museum of Broken Relationships!

ReplyDeleteI spent 4 months deployed to Zagreb, and loved eating the sausages, cured and cooked meats, and sauerkraut there. Yum--thanks for a little memory lane walk down the streets!
