Books You Loved: November 13

Before getting onto the new collection, I would like to highlight some of the books linked in last month which caught my eye:

Marie of Books by the Willow Tree reviewed The Winter Mantle by Elizabeth Chadwick. Marie said 'Anyone who loves historical fiction, British historical fiction, the history of William the Conqueror, or just a great read, will undoubtedly enjoy this excellent book!'

Colleen of Books in the City reviewed The Girl You Left Behind by Jo Jo Moyes.  She said 'I found this book completely engrossing. It is told alternately from Sophie and then Liv's point of view and I think the movement between contemporary and historical fiction was well balanced and served to keep the story moving.'

Shelleyrae of Book'd Out brought us The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.  She said '[it] is a witty and charming romantic comedy featuring a socially awkward, brilliant Genetics professor, Don Tilman and his search for wife.'

Just Ella by Annette K Larsen was reviewed by Brooke of Brooke's Books and Shauna of I Love to Read and Review Books. Brooke said 'This book has romance (of course), small adventures, kidnappings, unwanted suitors, and so much more. I highly recommend this book.'  Shauna said 'I LOVED THIS BOOK! WOW! AMAZING! WONDERFUL! ENCHANTING! INTRIGUING!'

Heather of My Writing Desk brought us The Governess of Highland Hall by Carrie Turansky.  Heather said 'It's setting is amazing. I love that it is late enough in history to have automobiles, but early enough to still be set in the grand, opulent halls of an old English manor. The setting reminds me somewhat of Downton Abbey.'

These were just a handful of the many books linked in.  To see more of them go to this Pinboard or to Books You Loved: October.

Now on to the fun – to add to the collection just pop you name and the name of the first book into the first Mr Linky box and paste the url for your post about it into the second one.

I will be pinning each review to this Pinboard.  It will help you see at a glance which books you want to read more about.

One last thing, don't forget to put your entry in for my first ever giveaway celebrating Carole's Chatter turning two. It closes in 24 hours time, so get in quickly!

    1. Hello again, Carole,
Sorry to bother you again, but changing URLs is exhausting - not to mention slightly annoying - so I changed it back to the way it was! :) Less work - for me at least. Sorry again, Carole, but have a wonderful night! :) Until next month - this time for certain! :)
